Prior to 2020, “Comfort Wear” was growing in popularity. As if the makers of ComfortWear were predicting future trends, this type of apparel is exactly what the name implies: Comfortable Wearables. While you may be thinking “sweatpants” ComfortWear is the opposite. Instead, ComfortWear clothing is designed to be stylish like Workwear, but comfortable.
It is basically clothing that feels good to wear, and looks good too! Perhaps this will grow even more popular as workplaces start to open up their offices for hybrid schedules?
In this case, polo’s are a great piece of apparel to own. This is because polo’s offer this type of versatility to go from home office to corporate culture, while still providing a polished yet comfortable look.
What About the Logo Location?
You might be saying – “I’m not a fan of a left-chest logo that’s typical on polos, it looks and feels too much like a uniform!”
To that point, another great aspect of a polo, besides its versatility, is the decoration capabilities that go above and beyond! Take a look at the polo below to see some of the more creative decoration locations for a polo:
As you can see, you can still add a logo to the left chest, if that is your preference. But, you can also get a logo printed on the right (or left) sleeve or the right (or left hip). Another fun location that is not pictured, is the back yoke. The yoke is the part below the collar on the back, centered between your shoulder blades.
Notice how this shirt is decorated with an embroidered logo. There are other decorating methods too. For example, laser etching (which gives you a fabulous tone-on-tone look), applique (similar to a patch), heat transfer, and of course, screen printing.
Next week we will go into what people look for when they are choosing an apparel item.
