A short while ago, I came across this quote by Cesare Pavese: “We do not remember days, we remember moments”.
When I first saw it, I thought to myself about how this quote is SO true! I mean, can you remember what you did all day last Monday? I know I can’t! But I can tell you that I remember eating dinner with my siblings.
That was a moment! A moment that I shared with some of my family members.
A moment that I will remember the smaller details of the day like what I wore that day, or what time I woke up – or what time we even ate dinner!
What moment do you remember from last Monday or even one from last week?
If you can remember the moments you experienced last week over all the details of your Monday or your week, I can bet that your clients can remember moments they had, too.
Now my next question is, were you involved in any of the moments your clients experienced?
If the answer is “no”, then you may need to look back and see where there were any missed opportunities for you to become a memorable part of your client’s day, week or month.
With a competitive marketplace where everyone is trying to stand out, it is so important to make sure you are creating unforgettable brand experiences and moments (no matter if they are big or small) for your clients. So YOU can be memorable. So your company can be memorable.
One way you can enhance the moments your clients have with you is to choose signature gifts to give to your clients whenever you do business with them or whenever you feel like creating an added “extra special” touch point.
This way, you can show your appreciation or showcase your brand’s culture in a tangible way that will positively influence clients throughout your entire relationship because they will remember the experience they had with your company
