It’s that time of year again where Pantone announces the top color of the year. The color you that will shape this year’s fashion and design world is Marsala. Yes, like Marsala wine or Chicken Marsala this color is sure to provide a great touch on this year’s great vibes.
Marsala, an earthy red-brown color, is a color that satisfy a sophisticated, natural earthy taste. According to Pantone.com, “The impactful, full-bodied qualities of Marsala make for an elegant, grounded statement color when used on its own or as a strong accent to many other colors”.
This color is a very tasteful color that draws on warmth and sophistication. Here at Antina Promotions, we feel this is a very soothing and calm color that is more toned down from its predecessors.
In 2014, we saw a bright and stunning Radiant Orchid and 2013 brought the elegance of Emerald while 2013 hosted the vivid and vibrant Tangerine Tango. It’s nice to see a more toned down color being thrown into the mix. Maybe even a little refreshing?
