Spring is finally starting to come into bloom as daylight savings time has begun, the weather is starting to warm up and spring fashion can finally start to dress up everyone’s wardrobes. With that said, we are here to make sure your wardrobe is up to date on this spring’s hottest hues.
For those of you who do not know, Pantone releases their Fashion Color Report every spring and fall with the season’s hottest colors. These colors end up making their way to runways across the globe and coincide with the fashion world. Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Spring 2012 dubs the season’s top ten colors to be Tangerine Tango, Solar Power, Sodalite Blue, Cabaret, Starfish, Margarita, Sweet Lilac, Driftwood, Bellflower and Cockatoo. So, now we can all start to look out for these trendy hues when we are out shopping for clothing, shoes, accessories and of course, promotional products and uniform wear for your business.
Out of the 10 colors picked to be the top colors for the season, Tangerine Tango has made it to the top color of the year. This is a perfect and bold color that looks great with a color blocking combination (which is also popular this season, up to three colors please!). According to Pantone, “[Tangerine Tango was picked because this] spirited reddish orange [color] continues to provide the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.”
